#CHICAGO 2016 MURDERS Approach 600 ! #OBAMA

2016 Homicides Approaching 600 in Gun-Controlled Chicago

2

Homicides in gun-controlled Chicago so far this year are approaching 600 following another weekend of firearm-related death and mayhem.

The Chicago Tribune reports that “at least 35” people were shot and wounded and another five were shot and killed between 6 pm Friday, October 7, and the morning of October 10. “Four people were shot within six blocks of each other over one hour Sunday night.”
The weekend’s violence brings the total number of homicides in the city to 578 year-to-date.
The Tribune reports there have been a total of 3,368 shooting victims between January 1 and October 11, 2016 — that figure includes fatal and non-fatal shootings. There were 2,988 shooting victims for the whole of 2015.
Violence in gun-controlled Chicago set a record in August 2016 with 472 people shot and 90 people killed, according to ABC News. It was the deadliest August in two decades and it came on the heels of the deadliest July since 2006.
ABC News also reported “nearly 12” people, on average, were shot every day in Chicago between January 1 and September 1.

Brutal Beating of #CPD Officer Details ! #Gangs

Chicago Police Department
Parta Huff, 28, was charged with attempted murder of a police officer and aggravated battery to a police officer after three Chicago officers were attacked Wednesday.
A Maywood man — high on PCP and with a history of resisting arrest — was ordered held without bond Friday after he allegedly punched two Chicago Police officers, including a female cop whose hair he pulled and slammed into the pavement so hard, she lost consciousness, Cook County prosecutors said.
The attack on the officer was highlighted Thursday at City Hall by Chicago Police Supt. Eddie Johnson, who told attendees at a city public safety awards ceremony thatthe officer decided not to shoot her assailant because she was worried about the repercussions the shooting would have on her family and the department, the Chicago Sun-Times is reporting.
Despite being Tasered several times, Parta Huff continued to beat the uniformed officer during Wednesday’s attack at Roosevelt and Cicero, Assistant State’s Attorney Jamie Santini said.
The female officer was trying to handcuff Huff after he allegedly crashed his vehicle into a liquor store, walked away and wouldn’t listen to her and her partner’s commands.
Judge Donald Panarese Jr. ordered the 28-year-old Huff — who appeared in court with a black eye that was swollen shut — held without bond for attempted murder and aggravated battery.
“These allegations not only show disrespect to Chicago Police but a disdain for them... This conduct will not be tolerated,” the judge said.
Huff, a father of one, told Panarese he had drugs in his system only because he was in the hospital that morning.
“No bond?” Huff then asked.
“No bond,” Panarese replied.
The clerk at Roosevelt Liquors called 911 after Huff drove into the building around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Santini said.
Then, seconds later, a citizen flagged down the officers to alert them to the crash, Santini said.
The officers, who were in a marked squad car, made a U-turn and went toward the scene when they saw Huff acting erratically, Santini said. They told him to stop walking away and come toward them but he ignored them, Santini said.
The female officer eventually went over to Huff and was able to cuff his left wrist. But when she went to his right wrist, he started attacking, Santini said.
Huff first punched the male officer, who ended up deploying his Taser, Santini said. After pulling out the prongs, Huff struggled with the female officer and allegedly knocked her to the ground. Huff ended up on top of the officer and started punching her in the face, Santini said.
Then he continued by grabbing her hair and slamming her head on the concrete, Santini said.
The female officer’s partner intervened and got in between her and Huff. He even deployed his Taser again, but Huff continued with the assault against the female officer, Santini said.
By this time, more officers came to the scene and were able to pull Huff of the female officer by his legs. Still Huff held onto her hair, Santini said.
Huff was Tasered a third time as he struggled with the officers, Santini said. One of the other officers ended up getting burned as a result, Santini said.
The female officer, who was taken to Lutheran General Hospital, suffered a concussion and multiple lacerations and bruises to her face and head, Santini said. She also was treated for a bone chip to the wrist and shoulder and had a neck injury.
Her partner also was taken to the hospital with a concussion and had cuts, bruises, a torn quad and a broken thumb, Santini said.
Huff was taken to Loretto Hospital where he tested positive for PCP.
Huff has a pending DUI case in Maywood, Santini said. He also has a previous weapons conviction and four for resisting arrests following traffic stops.
Huff has completed cosmetology school and currently works as a janitor and at a chocolate factory, an assistant public defender said. He also has another child on the way, the defense attorney said.

#BlackLivesMatter Threatens MORE VANDALISM !!!

Black Lives Matter Group Threatens New Orleans with Monument Vandalism

NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana – An organization aligned with the Black Lives Matter movement is now threatening the City of New Orleans publicly, defacing historical monuments and demanding they be torn down.

The group, “Take ‘Em Down Nola,” has for more than a year called for the removal of every historical monument in the city of New Orleans with ties to the Confederacy and Civil War after Mayor Mitch Landrieu (D) raised the issue following the Charleston, South Carolina AME Church shooting.
Over the weekend, Take ‘Em Down Nola vandalized the city’s PGT Beauregard monument, a monument to Jefferson Davis, along with a monument to Robert E. Lee, known as Lee Circle, with threatening messages to the Landrieu administration.
“We ready, we comin’. Take ‘em down,” the vandalism on the Jefferson Davis monument read.
Meanwhile, the message on the PGT Beauregard monument sent an ultimatum to the city, reading “Take ‘em down, or we will.”
Lee Circle’s monument was vandalized with a scissors and perforation lines, depicting the early steps to tearing the monument down from the city’s Central Business District.

New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) Public Information Officer Dawne Massey said law enforcement was “monitoring the situation,” when asked by Breitbart Texas if the police had taken action yet.
The Landrieu Administration and NOPD have been criticized in the past for failing to punish vandals who deface monuments.
Pete McGraw, the leader of a New Orleans-based organization that cleans the monuments free of charge to the City, said the vandalism by the group has gotten progressively more violent in message.
“The graffiti has changed,” McGraw told Breitbart Texas. “Now the language is ‘or we will…’”
Take ‘Em Down Nola has been vandalizing monuments across New Orleans for months, with previous messages also becoming threatening to the City and police officers directly.
One message read: “Fist Up. Shoot Back,” accompanied with the #F*ck12 hashtag, which celebrated the death of New York City Police Department officers and has been previously reported on by Breitbart Texas.
McGraw noted that since Landrieu first incited the vandalism and racial upheaval in New Orleans, not one monument to a black American figure in the city has been vandalized in retaliation to Take ‘Em Down Nola.
The threatening messages come just a week before Take ‘Em Down Nola plans to physically tear down New Orleans’ most famous French Quarter monument depicting President Andrew Jackson on horseback, as Breitbart Texas reported.
Currently, monument removal in the city is being held up in the courts, with opposition groups trying to slow the process.

BIG CITY #MURDERS Rise by 33% ! #TrumpTrain

Major City Murders Rising by One-Third From 2014 to 2016, Admits Left-Wing Legal Group

1

The Brennan Center for Justice admits the ongoing spike in murders in the nation’s major cities when it released its September report on crime.

“Nationally, the murder rate is projected to increase 31.5 percent from 2014 to 2016 — with half of additional murders attributable to Baltimore, Chicago, and Houston,” the group said in its summary of its new report, “Crime in 2016: A Preliminary Analysis.”
That adds up to additional 496 real and projected dead Americans from 2015 to 2016, in 22 cities.
The report was issued just ahead of the FBI’s semi-annual report on nationwide crime rates, due out Monday, Sept. 26.
The group’s admission of a massive jump in murder is a sharp change from its prior  summary of crime in 2015, when it reported “the average person in a large urban area is safer walking on the street today than he or she would have been at almost any time in the past 30 years.”
The new report, released Sept. 21, however, still tried to downplay the 31.5 percent rise in murder from 2014 to 2016.
The Center projected overall crime would rise 1.3 percent in 2016 while violent crime by 5.5 percent, while rushing to assure readers “violent crime remains near the bottom of the nation’s 30-year downward trend.”
But the report, which relies on police data from 22 cities, admits the massive rise in murder rates even as it looks for evidence of a turnaround.
The murder rate is projected to rise by 13.1 percent this year, with nearly half of this increase attributable to Chicago alone (234 of 496 murders). Significantly, other cities that drove the national murder increase in 2015 are projected to see significant decreases in 2016. Those cities include Baltimore (down 9.7 percent*) and Washington, D.C. (down 12.7 percent*). New York remains one of the safest large cities, even with the murder rate projected to rise 1.2 percent* this year.
Nationally, the murder rate is projected to increase 31.5 percent from 2014 to 2016 — with half of additional murders attributable to Baltimore, Chicago, and Houston. Since homicide rates remain low nationwide, percentage increases may overstate relatively small increases. In San Jose, for example, just 21 new murders translated to a 66.7 percent* increase in the city’s murder rate. Based on this data, the authors conclude there is no evidence of a national murder wave, yet increases in these select cities are indeed a serious problem.
murder
The study’s authors caution that their analysis “focuses on major cities, where increases in crime and murder were highest in preliminary Uniform Crime Reporting data for 2015,” making their report “likely [to] overestimate any national rise in crime.”
“These findings undercut media reports referring to crime as ‘out of control,’ or heralding a new nationwide crime wave,” the study states. “But the data do call attention to specific cities, especially Chicago, and an urgent need to address violence there.”
Notably, the extraordinary increase in projected murders began in 2014, when Obama began his “stigmatize-and-federalize” campaign against local and state law enforcement.
The Brennan Center bills itself as “part think tank, part advocacy group, part cutting-edge communications hub” and has pushed hard for a sentencing rewrite at the federal level.
Criminal justice experts said the center appears to be trying to bury the shocking murder increase.
“When the murder rate increases by nearly a third in two years, that, ladies and gentlemen, is a national crisis,” wrote former federal prosecutor Bill Otis, accusing the Center of “aggressive deceit.”
“The Brennan Center’s attempt to minimize the crime spike is something to behold,” he continued. “Thus, it reports: ‘Crime overall in 2016 is projected to remain the same as in 2015, rising by 1.3 percent. Twelve cities are expected to see drops in crime. These decreases are offset by Chicago (rising 9.1 percent) and Charlotte (17.5 percent). Nationally, crime remains at an all-time low.'”
“Only when there is an overall increase in crime, even only a small one, crime has not ‘remain[ed] the same.’  And the Center’s statement that ‘crime remains at an all-time low’ is a point-blank lie,” Otis wrote at Crime and Consequences. “According tostatistics from the Uniform Crime Reports, violent crime rates were lower, and in most years much lower, in the crime-growing decade of the 1960’s than they are now. The same is true of property crime in the years 1960 through 1966—it was lower when I was in college than it is now.”
“Of course, you might be less inclined to think that a 1.3 percent increase in crime is ‘small’ if you were one of the approximately 123,000 additional crime victims this percentage represents,” he added.
Professor Douglas A. Berman at the Moritz College of Law at Ohio State Universitynoticed the significant increase;
I fully appreciate the considerable importance and enduring challenge of collecting and reporting on crime data accurately. But, with all due respect to the work of the fine folks at the Brennan Center, I am troubled that this report seems presented in a way that tries to downplay a number of disconcerting numbers. For starters, a 1+% increase in overall crime is a slight increase, not crime “remaining the same.” Moreover, I do not think it fair to assert that crime “remains at an all-time low” just after reporting it is going up a little bit. Similarly, a 5+% increase in violent crime strikes me as a notable increase, not just a “slight” one. And finally, the fact that murder is projected to be up another 13+% in 2016 after a significant spike up in 2015 does, at least in my view, lend credence to at least the claim that the US in now in the midst of a “new nationwide [homicide] crime wave.”
“I am seeking to note that suggesting there is little to see/note here fails to deal with distressing reality that violent crime and especially murder continue to be going up significantly in 2016 even after they went up a significant amount in late 2014 and through all of 2015,” Berman replied to one commenter who accused him of trying to “get folks worked up.”
“Is it evenly distributed between highly urbanized areas and suburban and even rural areas? Large cities are not the entirety of the nation,” wrote one commenter.
“Because this report… looks only at 50 largest cities in US, it can only make conclusions based on reports from those cities. I share your interest in getting more data from other regions, but there is a long time-lag before we will get true nationwide crime data from official govt sources like the FBI,” Berman wrote in reply.
The FBI is expected to release 2015’s crime statistics on Monday, the day of the first presidential debate.
